Embroidery Workshop

Join this beginner-friendly embroidery workshop, where we will take inspiration from our surroundings and artwork within The Fan Museum, to create your own embroidered masterpiece. This session will take place in the museum’s delightful Orangery from 13:00 until 15:30.
In this workshop you will learn:
- A variety of introductory embroidery stitches
- How to prepare your embroidery hoop and thread
- Tricks to make your work look more realistic
What is included with your ticket:
- Entry to the museum
- Materials used during the workshop (you do not need to bring anything with you)
- Templates to inspire your design
- You will be able to take home your embroidered artwork in its frame to display at home
This is an event with limited capacity, with only 10 places available, and tickets at £30.00 each.
The session will be led by Sarah, who facilitates embroidery workshops and collage clubs in London.
